This slim and elegant piece couldn't be any further removed from the bulky brute of the Royal Oak Offshore line that the brand is perhaps most commonly known for amongst today's collectors. Hearkening back to a simpler time, it’s representative of an era in which the maison made so few timepieces per year that many were unique pieces, or part of incredibly limited series.

Clocking in at 33mm in a white gold tonneau case, this gorgeous Reference 5279 dress watch features a stunning, dark blue dial with black stick hands and applied indices. It’s outfitted with a textured bezel and bracelet with safety clasp. Powered by the hand-wound Caliber 2120 — which is itself based upon the ultra-thin Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 920 from 1967 — it’s a wildly unique piece that’s sure to turn heads.

In untouched condition showing little signs of normal wear, this is as much a historical horological treasure as it is an infinitely wearable companion for a special night out.

The case is in outstanding condition overall showing only light signs of wear from gentle use. Navy blue dial with applied indices is in equally outstanding condition with matching handset. Unsigned crown.
